Embarrassing Choices...

PART 10

“Of a truth, the two choices open to Nigerians today is that between a notorious murderer and a notorious robber-auctioneer as they troop out to vote once more, to elect the next person to captain SHIP NIGERIA, these choices of theirs are unenviable to me – but choose they must, as nature abhors a vacuum!

Despite these embarrassing choices left for Nigerians today, I say God bless our Nigeria still; and can I here say to Mother Nigeria: I LOVE THEE STILL, DESPITE ALL THY FAULTS!”

PART 9

BUHARISM & THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW

…between a nation’s two most objectionable alternatives – Judas of Daura and Barabbas of Adamawa

LET MY PEOPLE FAST AND PRAY VERY FERVENTLY

It must here be stressed once more as I have always done when discussing this subject matter and other such nonsense as cultural imperialism and linguistic impositionism being spear-headed by that non-war General Tukur Buratai that under the Lugardian Covenant of 1914, only the political, and not the cultural, was amalgamated. So, all the cultural impostors and Arabists in our midst must let the sleeping dog lie, and peacefully lie.

PART 8

“This Alhaji Barawo Dubai speaks and breathes Dubai.

Atiku Abubakar is in fact, the Mayor and the Sultan of Dubai; the Barawo of Adamawa is Dubai’s most notorious International Public Relations Executive (IPRE)/International Public Relations Officer (IRPO); Atiku Abubakar suffers the worst form of, and an incurable psychological inadequacy, hence he is ashamed of Nigeria, – no wonder, he prefers things made outside of Nigeria, Dubai particularly.

If Atiku hurts his foot, he jets off to Dubai; if he has headache, he jets off to Dubai; if he has malaria fever, he jets off to Dubai; if he suffers stomach ache, Dubai; toothache nko, Dubai; if he wants to urinate, he jets off to Dubai; his son’s wedding, Dubai; businesses, Dubai; naming ceremony, Dubai…”

“We must start small in every facet of our individual and national life and grow big! We must start small, even if like a grain of mustard seed, and grow and grow and become as big and as large as the universe.”

PART 2

“The Generals have garrisoned every public space in Nigeria: the industrial-private sector; the civil service – public sector; the political-elective spaces; the cultural-diplomatic; the socio-psychological spaces; the ethical-moral; religio-spiritual; geo-agricultural, geo-political, etc, such that till date, Nigeria remains the world’s biggest/largest barracks/garrison/cantonment/brigade. Their children/wards, cronies, concubines in their teens and early twenties are already billionaires in pounds and dollars without working or sweating to earn these filthy lucre!”

IBRAHIM KPOTUN IDRIS: THE ABANDONMENT OF DUTY

PART FOUR

SERIES: BUHARISM AND THE FIERCE URGENCY OF NOW

Usually whenever I want to amuse myself, I do tell people around me, if you ask Nigerians and the Britons to swap countries - all Britons, relocating to Nigeria, and all Nigerians crossing over to Britain for just twelve hours, the Britons will turn Nigeria around to the admiration of the whole world and posterity, but Nigerians who by this hypothetical scenario will now be the proud inhabitants of Great Britain, would play locust over everything it had taken the Brits to build across centuries, without adding anything to Britain!

PART 1

SERIES: BUHARISM AND THE SWIFT URGENCY OF NOW

In the face of the current high crime rate of all sorts ravaging every nook and cranny of the Nigerian State, it's very shocking to know what preoccupies the small mind of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris of the national police is not how to combat all these by partnering with all the communities in Nigeria, expanding the frontiers of crime fighters, upgrading policing in Nigeria from its primitive and antedilluvian policing to international standards of effective policing, befitting a multicultural, multi-lingual Nigeria and making the nations's police become representative, buying state of the art policing equipmemt and gadgets, including drones and helicopters, body armours and body worn cameras for the police, building habitable barracks, having police stations that are of international standards, coming up with befitting uniforms, looking at the welfare status of the police, buying new vehicles, encouraging graduates and women to take to a career in the police service, embarking on researches, training and development, and moving the police from its current people-unfriendly/bestial/jungle-like status to a people-friendly one, etc, but to embark on an egostical ingloriousness of wanting to open a separate broadcaster for the police community in Nigeria.

"Clip-clip..clip-clip...Did you not hear when BABA DAURA say women's place is in the kitchen?" Gomina Kumapayi seems to be telling the Road Safety woman in the picture.

The gamblers and drunkards in one of their time-wasting rituals: Muhammadu Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo, Babachir David Lawal and Babagana Mongonu as the Esusu Head presides over the August 31, 2016 Drunkards Club Meet held at the CHAMBER OF NO IDEAS, the State House in Abuja. But don't all these gamblers and drunkards look very clueless and very pitiful? These are ignominious bunch who have no business being in a Government of a MAMMY MARKET or OBRUKUTU JOINT, how much more, in any part of the globe, whatsoever because the business of governance is a serious business!

SERIES: NATIONAL ECONOMIC EMERGENCY (NEE)

There is a tide in the affairs of men

There is a tide in the affairs of men.

    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;

Omitted, all the voyage of their life

Is bound in shallows and in miseries.

On such a full sea are we now afloat,

And we must take the current when it serves,

    Or lose our ventures.

William Shakespeare in  Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224

Yemi Osinbanjo, the Pastor-Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria...man entrusted with the economic destiny of the nation, but lacks the econobility (economic ability) to propel the economic engine of the largest African economy on the planet earth. Sinner who contrary to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is still the Pastor of the Lagos Province 48, the Olive Tree Provincial Headquarters Parish is on record to have boasted he is on loan to the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Vice President, saying: ”Just like Pastor Ibitayo has said we are on loan. I am still the pastor-in-charge of Province 48 in Lagos and my wife remains the pastor-in-charge.”
