PART 16

THE METAMORPHOSIS OF BOKO HARAM INTO MILITANT PASTORALIST CATTLE AVENGERS… THE ACTS OF UTHMAN DAN FODIO FRONTIER FORCE (UDFFF)

This is what the LORD says: "A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more,” Jeremiah 31:15.

As I write home today, my heart is heavy with sorrow and my eyes full of tears and like Rachel of Ramah, I have refused to be comforted because our people are no more – and worse, this is not the Nigeria of my dream. As tears gush out of my eyes from far away United Kingdom, I want to repeat here that this is not the Nigeria in which my parents and teachers from elementary schools to university were preparing me to play a key role.

Yea, Buhari’s Nigeria is not the Nigeria of my dream, but the Fulbes’ SLAUGHTER HOUSE (abattoir). And as my fellow Nigerians, you will agree with me that Muhammadu Buhari’s Nigeria is NOT the Nigeria of our collective dream, hence I have decided to resume the serialization of: MY OF FOOLS OF THE MIDDLE BELT…but would that all the Middle Belters, and all of my fellow Nigerians had listened to me since 1989/1990 when as a Copper Columnist (Corp member) at the Observer, Benin City, I wrote an article published in the Sunday Observer of June 24, 1990 under my then column: FOR POSTERITY entitled: REMEMBER THE COVENANT OF BROTHERHOOD.

Also, would that the Middle Belt, where at a time in the history of that nation, we arguably had the most number of top ranking military Generals, both serving and retired; would also, that the Gabriel Suswam and the top officials of his Government had listened to me when from the United Kingdom, I sought in 2013 to internationalise the bestial and monstrous jihad that had been going on in both the Eastern and Western planks of the Middle Belt, dating back to the terrorist days of Uthman Dan Fodio, beginning from 1804 to 1809, through 1815 and continued till date by successive generations of the Fulanis in collusion with their very weak partners and follow-follow parasites, the Hausas, who had abandoned everything about who they were, and are, to doing follow-follow for the Fulbes and the Arabs in the far off Middle East, whilst the war between both lasted before they went into partnership and adopted the Hausa language as their lingua franca.

Lamentably, despite being the John the Baptist of our time, crying from the Diaspora, this time not to call on my people, the Nigerian people to prepare the way of the Lord and make His path straight, but to wake up and appropriately match the forces of Islam with a crusade, but my people have ignored me and continued with their sleeping and snoring. As the House of Nigeria is now surrounded by the Ishmaelites, Philistines, the Medianites, the Babylonians, the Moabites and the Edomites, a Voice from the Excellent Glory says to me, O ye O son of Light:Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul,” Ezekiel 3:19.

During the Agatu and Logo massacres, which were not just accidental massacres, but an ethnic cleansing spree and a genocide of unparalleled proportion, claiming hundreds of lives of fellow Nigerians, I became so concerned and whilst in tears, I reached out to Governor Samuel Ortorm’s Media aide with the hope that he could arrange for me, a time in which His Excellency and myself could rub minds and share ideas on what has really been going on in the nation’s HEARTLAND as with due respect to humility, more than any Nigerian living or dead, I had the most insight into the jihad project of the Fulanis and Hausas in collaboration with their fellow Sunni Saudis, others in the Gulf States and those in the Muslim majority nations – be there the Sunni Muslims of the Saudi Emirates and other Sunni Muslim nations, and on the other hand, the Iranian-led Shi’ites axis, led by EL ZakZaky, having been investigating this for over 26 years now, but Ortom’s Special Adviser on Media and ICT, KING TAHAV AGERZUA thought differently.

Despite his disinterestedness, in my numerous telephone conversations, text messages and emails after the Agatu and Logo pogroms, I did pass useful information to Mr Agerzua in which he was expected to pass onto Governor Ortom and his team, including the members of the Benue State House of Assembly.

I hereby promise my readers and fellow Nigerians that in the subsequent series of this treatise, I will reproduce all my email exchanges with Lord Agerzua.

REACHING OUT FROM THE LAND OF MY SOJOURNING TO COLLEAGUE JOURNALISTS ABOUT THE ONGOING JIHAD AND ETHNIC CLEASING IN NIGERIA

Additionally, at a time when the Plateau axis of the Middle Belt was getting the heat with my colleague journalists in Nigeria describing the perpetrators of the bestial acts as “unknown uniformed men” killing people there, particularly in Jos and Barkin Ladi, or reporting about the so-called clashes between the farmers and the herdsmen, I had equally got in touch with senior journalists in Nigeria, some of who were my colleagues at Rutam House in Lagos, amongst such were: MR EMEKA IZEZE, my former editor, now Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, Mr, ALABI WILLIAMS, Deputy editor of The Guardian on Sunday, Mr Julius Eto, Deputy editor of The Guardian, to name but a few, to debunk the general reports by the media in Nigeria about these so-called UNKNOWN uniformed men, “clashes” between farmers and the so-called Fulani herders, letting them know that the perpetrators were in fact, hired/sponsored jihadists to steal, kill, maim, destroy and disinherit people of their ancestral lands in a coordinated Islamic projects with funds from the Middle East and other Muslim majority nations, teaming up with the jihadists in high places in Nigeria, especially the descendants of Uthman Dan Fodio and such other caliphate delusionists to complete the work of their ancestors, in areas that stoutly resisted Uthman Dan Fodio and his band of terrorists, whilst their orgiastic and monstrous activities lasted between 1804 and 1809, through 1809 till date.

During that discussion with my former colleagues at Rutam House, my former editor, Mr Izeze included, I had again expressed my serious displeasure, having so protested earlier in my articles at their keeping the strapline: CONSCIENCE NURTURED BY TRUTH believed to have been taken from one of the sayings of Uthman Dan Fodio: ‘‘Conscience is an open wound; only truth can heal it, making all of them aware that generations of young Nigerians had been mis-educated, fooled and lied to as the monstrous terrorist, Uthman Dan Fodio had been presented to them as a holy man and his bestial war not different to the one Abubakar Shekau is waging now against our nation as a holy war!

I told my other colleagues before Mr Izeze that they should remove such a strapline/motto from a very wicked and evil man, Uthman Dan Fodio, saying categorically all of us Nigerian journalists should begin to demonise Uthman Dan Fodio and present him to the present generation of Nigerians and posterity exactly the real person he was - purposeless, wicked and evil – the worst terrorist ever, and suggested to them they should join my crusade in calling for Uthman Dan Fodio to be tried at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at the Hague posthumously for his crime against humanity because he had committed a worse sin than Adolphus Hitler had done.

Arguably, the people of West Africa that had died through his terrorist activities from 1804 to 1809, and those that had died after his death through generations of Islamists/jihadists/terrorists that (he had inspired) taken after him by way of his terrorist activities breeding many copycats across centuries have run up to about 70 million people.

And whilst I was on the phone to Mr Izeze, whom I am proud to call not just my former editor, but a great and worthy journalism teacher of mine, for I’m very proud to have passed through the hands of early Emeka, I did ask him rhetorically: “Sir, why should we be using the saying of Uthman Dan Fodio as our strapline in the face of the raging terrorism activities of Abubakar Shekau and his gang, who are in a mere copycat terrorism as begun by their inspirer, Uthman Dan Fodio, reminding Mr Izeze that Uthman Dan Fodio is the cause of all the nation’s has been facing over the years, being the originator/initiator of jihad in the pre-amalgamation era in the Upper Niger Area, heading down South, whereupon he was stopped at Oshogbo in the West, and heading East, where he was stopped by the gallant Tivs, with his descendants and their fellow caliphate delusionists now bent on continuing the unfinished works of their evil ancestor, to the point of boasting they would continue to wage the brutal, brutish and monstrous war of terrorism/jihad until they deeped the Koran inside the Atlantic?

To the glory of God and to the best of my knowledge, The management of The Guardian had heeded my advice and removed the slogan: CONSCEINCE NURTURED BY TRUTH rubbish of Uthman Dan Fodio from the front page of the paper.

May God bless all my colleagues at Rutam House for doing just that, for doing the needful, and what is right, but they shouldn’t forget: THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!

In spite of this, I am yet not happy with my former bosses, colleagues and personal friends at Rutam House because The Guardian under them today, especially in the Age of Muhammadu Buhari is just a mere newsletter!

During the GEJ’s era, it was just a newsletter for the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s Government, and now reduced to a newsletter for anybody/everybody and nobody.

In the midst of our chaotic democracy, where the nation is contending not only with the Islamists in and around the country, but with democracy hijackers who are now on the prowl, plotting to ambush the APC Government from the basement, The Guardian of today, without apology to anyone out there at Rutam House stands for nothing, repeat, that paper, in our days generally regarded very fondly by the intellectual community as THE PAPER, in these perilous times of our national history, when that medieval potentate, Muhammadu Buhari had returned our country to the 6th century A.D., the once adored paper, even our Guardian is just a silent sentinel at the gate of the House of Nigeria, at best, The Guardian is a mere bystander!

And because The Guardian no longer stands for anything in that country, it has been falling for any Lagbaja in power/government (ALIP/ALIG) and any Jalagba in power/government (AJIP/AJIG)!

To Mr Emeka Izeze and his team – my able former colleagues and friends, I’d like to ask all of you severally: WHERE GOETH THE FIRE? WHERE GOETH THAT FIRE? WHERE GOETH THAT RUTAM HOUSE INFERNO?

Can anyone in that country believe that the trash coming out of Rutam House these days as editorials are indeed, editorials from Rutam House of yore?

Here is one such very ridiculous example: ”…not that anyone is criticizing Mr. President…!

So why wouldn’t a bloody tyrant, a tyro and a dimwit such as Buhammadu Musharia who has been destroying our country be criticized by a paper like The Guardian? Again, why wouldn’t a man of doubtful civility and superficial civilization like Muhammadu Buhari, whose reign, murdering of fellow human beings, more, fellow compatriots has become an entertainment sport staged at the FULBEWOOD THEATRE by the FULBEWOOD MONSTROUS ACTORS in the Arid Daura, where it had been decreed by King Rehoboam of Daura himself that the herdsmen and farmers should never clash there? Yet again, why wouldn’t Muhammadu Buhari, the king Herod of our time who has written in the infamous THE BUHARI MANIFESTO thus: UNITED WE FALL, DIVIDED WE STAND be unrepentantly and scathingly criticised? Why wouldn’t a man who has taken the divide and rule philosophy/ideology to a satanic level be criticised? Or do the media in Nigeria, including The Guardian not know that the motto: United We Fall, Divided we Stand is divide and rule by some other name? Herein then lies the very reason why we must all severally criticise king Rehoboampharaoherod of Dauraegypt!

Anyone wanting to know about The Guardian’s type of editorial these days, should get themselves a wall clock and then spend some time to watch the pendulum as it swings from side to side.

The Guardian in its editorials does vacillate, oscillate and gyrate. Lamentably, at the end of the day, it arrives at nothing and nowhere, very afraid to hold onto an, and own an AUTHORITATIVE OPINION of its own on behalf of God, the nation, all of humanity and posterity, except rehashing every story that had been told and re-told by everybody and all the media in that country!

PART OF THE GUARDIAN’S CORE PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY…HOLDING UP THE MIRROR FOR THE GUARDIAN TO MIRROR ITSELF IN MOMENTS OF NATIONAL EXIGENCIES

“The Guardian will at all times uphold the need for justice, probity in public life, equal access to the nation’s resources, and equal protection under the laws of Nigeria for all citizens.

The Guardian believes that Nigeria is a legitimate member of the international community, but holds that she can best fulfil her international obligations only if her own security and integrity are assured.

The Guardian’s logo is the ancient Egyptian symbol for Conscience. The motto, “Conscience, Nurtured by Truth” is inspired by Uthman Dan Fodio’s saying: ‘‘Conscience is an open wound; only truth can heal it.’’”

Although The Guardian has removed its so-called Uthman Dan Fodio quote from its front page, it has continued to maintain the saying of that monstrous terrorist who since1804 till date has through his own personally led terrorist activities and those he had inspired killed over 70 million peoples of West Africa, excluding foreigners!

No wonder, William Shakespeare doth speaketh to The Guardian:

CASSIUS
Then, Brutus, I have much mistook your passion;
By means whereof this breast of mine hath buried
Thoughts of great value, worthy cogitations.

Tell me, good Brutus, can you see your face?

BRUTUS
No, Cassius; for the eye sees not itself,
But by reflection, by some other things.

But can The Guardian see its face? What is more, can Nigeria see her face? Yet even more, can Nigerians see their faces? Far greater and yet even more, can Africa see her face?

Lest I forget, it should also, be recorded here that during my discussion with Mr Izeze, he had asked me to be contributing articles for publication in The Guardian and I told him that a few weeks to the Presidential Election of 2015 that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to power, but which Buhari has deceptively turned it to his 2nd Intifada, I was asked by my good friend, Julius Omokioja Eto to do a special feature/analysis for The Guardian, whilst he, Eto was disposed toward the publication of my Special Analysis, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political egrets at Rutam House AVIARY/GRAZING LAND refused the publication of that special feature/analysis, saying: IT’S TOO RADICAL!

It would be recalled that Mr Izeze had said to me: “In fact, it is people like you who should be contributing, unfortunately you have not been doing that. It is intellectuals like you who should be contributing to The Guardian. To let you know The Guardian still publishes your kind of articles, Chinweizu’s has just been published. In fact, we are serializing the article now – and we published another article of his which he had sent to me not quite long ago.”

Having told Mr Izeze that Chinweizu had sent us the same article and we ran all at ago on both Vigilance and Scorpion, he then encouraged me to send my articles directly to him via his email addresses, but when I did, it was again not used for the reason of being: TOO RADICAL, as I was later to learn.

YES, THE JUNE 12 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS FIRST SCUTTLED IN THE NEWSROOM

This was just in the same way, my investigations detailing how General Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida was planning to scuttle the results of the June 12 Presidential Election of 1993 was killed by the gang of BOSAH IWOBI, the then editor of The Independent Weekly, Segun Akpata, the then Managing Director of The Independent Weekly, Isi Oyobose, Admin/Human Resources Manager, the Advertising Manager, who was one of the conspirators in the killing of my June 12 story - I have forgotten his name and the then Head of the Department of Philosophy, Ogun State University, one Dr. ONIGBINDE, who was then contributing articles to The Independent Weekly.

I slept in the newsroom of The Independent Weekly, then at Jakande Close in Surulere, Lagos, off Adeniran Ogunsanya Street. We had during the editorial meeting planned that three pages would be devoted to that Feature/Analysis/Investigation because of its importance, but it was cut to just three paragraphs by the then editor of The Independent Weekly, Mr BOSAH IWOBI, saying: “When I read am, I no understand am, and I say how an ordinary person go understand this? Besides, Goment go say, somebody dey pay you to dey write your kind of stories.”

Similarly, my then immediate editor, Mr Tony Onyima, then Features Editor echoed Mr Iwobi: “When I read am I no understand the intro, and I ask myself: wetin dis boy dey write? If me wey be editor read it and no understand am, how the people out there go understand you? Na him I come pass am to editor, and him too no understand am.”

Turning to him, Mr Iwobi in his then office which he shared with Mr Onyima, the Advert Manager, where all of them including Dr Onigbinde were present that evening, I had said to him: “Editor, e good make we give other people too a hearing – o.”

Then after a few minutes spent in the office with each of them saying one thing and another about my intellectual endowment, I left them very, very unhappy.

But had that story described by the Management of The Independent Weekly as a DANGEROUS STORY been published, it might have prevented General Ibrahim Babangida, his gang and the caliphate delusionists from scuttling the June 12 Presidential Election results, and our nation might probably not have been taken through that gruesome GETHSEMANE, and be led up to that GOLGOTHA of an experience, leading to the deaths of Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, Kudirat Abiola, Tunde Elegbede, Pa Alfred Rewane and many, many other Nigerians that had died in the course of the struggle for the actualization of the June 12 Presidential Election results!

The following Nigerian journalists who were my friends and colleagues at The Independent Weekly can testify to how that story of mine, then popularly known as JOHN’S JUNE 12 STORY was killed:

Mr Julius Eto, who kept a copy of The Independent Weekly, and who upon my arrival in the newsroom announced to me: “John, come see wetin they do to the story you sleep in the office to write.”

The killing of that story by the Segun Akpata gang at Jakande Close, Surulere, Lagos, amongst other things, led to my resignation, entitled: IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO RUN, BUT TO RUN AND SUCCEED.

Another colleague was Femi Akorede, plus others. More on the June 12 story, sometime in the future.

Throughout my practicing days in Nigeria, for the sake of our country, I had risked my life to be doing such DANGEROUS stories, so we can have a better Nigeria, but there are those who were out there to collect money and kill such stories, described always by them and my colleagues as DANGEROUS stories.

Those close to me could attest to the number of times I was warned by the IBB’s Alsatian dogs when I was investigating the deleterious effects of the mega dams and the massive irrigation projects on the ecology of Northern Nigeria, amongst such very negative effects were the restiveness in the desert due to competition for spaces by the herders and traditional farmers;  bursting of dams, killing hundreds, which the Babangida Administration had prevented their reportage; the desiccation of the river systems all over the North as a testimony to the negative effects of the mega dams and massive irrigation projects built by General Yakubu Gowon under his politically motivated policy of GREENING THE NORTH; droughts; famine up North, carcasses of cows, camels, donkeys, goats/ sheep and other animals that littered the Northern Nigerian landscape; the hijacking of the flood plains by the Generals for their mechanized farms, the disappearing fadamas – traditional farming, following the effects of those mega dams (Tiga and Challawa Gorge dams) and the massive irrigation projects (as a matter of fact, traditional farming and other traditional agricultural practices have almost disappeared in the North, yet the nation has spent decades to focus on just one of the multifaceted problems in the desert-ravaged North - the then genuine and occasional clashes between the herdsmen and the farmers, which was latter to be politicized and now hijacked by the forces of Darkness - the local and international terrorists backed by people in high places in Nigeria, who are out to do the biddings of their ancestors in order to fully Islamize Nigeria and introduce sharia in every State of the Federation.

The reader must be made aware that I have spent over 26 years investigating the fast changing environment of the North of Nigeria, including the whole of the Nigerian environment in all of the current six geo-political zones, so I write from an eye-witness point of view as someone who has been monitoring that region of Nigeria and the whole of the Nigerian environment (North and South) as an international environmentalist, international environmental journalist, international scholar and an international security expert.

In fact, one of such many, many investigations won me the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence as the Reporter of the Year for the whole country in 1992.

My readers will do well to find out for themselves what Ahmadu Bello had said about those communities his forefathers could not conquer due to their stout resistance. Additionally, these humble efforts of mine were to be recognized also, in 2003 by the British Government through the award of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship which enabled me to study International Journalism, with specialism in Environment at the equally prestigious City University of London, England, United Kingdom.

WAILINGS AND LOUD LAMENTATIONS AT RIVER RED OR RED BENUE

But where were all the Heartland’s elites when the jihadists exploded? Most hypocritically, Paul Unogo, General Onoja, Abubakar Tsav, David Mark, and such others like Domkat Bali, T.Y Danjuma, Jeremiah Oseni, the Ohinoyi Of Igbira, the Attah of Igala, General Yakubu Gowon, Iyorcha Ayu, the Tor Tiv, the Ochi’Doma and others who are the real FOOLS OF THE MIDDLE BELT that my: OF FOOLS OF THE MIDDLE BELT aimed to castigate for abandoning their own very people, brothers and sisters, uncles, cousins and other family members for a mess of pottage and crumbs from their oppressors and expropriators, the very people who have been killing their people since 1804 till the very present, are now shedding goose tears.

They should all severally hang up their heads in shame for being so stupid and crassly insensitive! O Heartlanders, behold thy Esaus and arch-betrayers!

BUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THE MIDDLE BELT, BAY (BORNO, ADAMAWA, YOBE) AND IN THE CHRISTIAN MAJORITY SOUTH OF NIGERIA, TACTICALLY LEAVING OUT SOKOTO, KANO, KATSINA AND JIGAWA STATES?

Fellow Nigerians, I would not have you ignorant of what has been going on in our Nigeria: And if you indeed seek to know the three things that are ongoing in our Nigeria right now – here then are those three things oozing out of the BLACKNESS OF DARKNESS:

  1. Jihad
  2. Jihad
  3. Jihad

And I’m not kidding or lying or deceiving you that these are what are going on in Nigeria right now before the very eyes of jihadi Muhammadu Buhari, Sa’ad Muhammad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, military chiefs – security and defence chiefs, including the IGP, Ibrahim Kpotun Idriss, immigration and custom chiefs, the interior minister, General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau….

But how come that no Nigerian listened to me when I did reveal as God had given to me to give to His people the prophecy that when Muhammad Buhari was carrying out all the lopsided political appointments, especially those of the security and defence chiefs, it was for this purpose?

The jihadists, both local and international, call them by whatever name, Fulbe herders/terrorists or the Sahara Desert Avengers, or simply DESERT AVENGERS/DESERT WARRIORS, if you like, but one thing is certain, the Sunni/Salafist/Wahabi jihadists mean business!

See what they have planned to do to our Nigeria – partitioning and encirclement of the nation through the philosophy and theology of ZANGOISM (colony/colonization), wherein they hope to carve out in each of these colonies a Local Government Council, having earlier under Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida, the chief priest of the OIC, experimented as a pilot project by carving out Jos North Local Government Council for the Fulanis without any iota of consultation with the indigenous people of Jos.

The Local Governments will thereafter assume emirates status with the full implementation of Sharia – then you will begin to have such nonsense as the Emir of Lagos, the Emir of Ekiti, the Emir of Akure, the Emir of Ibadan, the Emir of Ile-Ife, the Emir of Warri, the Emir of Asaba, the Emir of Port Harcourt, the Emir of Makurdi, the Emir of Aba, the Emir of Calabar, the Emir of Enugu, the Emir of Onitsha, the Emir of Benin City, the Emir of Uyo, echetra, echetra! Eyin eyan wa, eku oro jihad ati Sharia repete-o-o-o-o-o-o!

ARTEMIDORUS

(reads aloud)

“Caesar, beware of Brutus. Take heed of Cassius. Come not near Casca. Have an eye to Cinna. Trust not Trebonius. Mark well Metellus Cimber. Decius Brutus loves thee not. Thou hast wronged Caius Ligarius. There is but one mind in all these men, and it is bent against Caesar. If thou beest not immortal, look about you. Security gives way to conspiracy. The mighty gods defend thee!

     Thy lover,

Here will I stand till Caesar pass along,

And as a suitor will I give him this.

My heart laments that virtue cannot live

Out of the teeth of emulation.

If thou read this, O Caesar, thou mayst live.

If not, the Fates with traitors do contrive.

Exit

It is a plot! It is a war!

And the whole of Nigeria has many, many years ago been encircled. They are moving down South through various routes, even through Daura – Zango (Zangon Daura), despite the so-called FORTE BUHARI; through Cameroon, Northern to States in the North, and Southern, to access Ikom, Obudu, Ogoja, Yala Local Government Areas, from the North through Benue, to access the whole of Cross River, Akwa Ibom, the whole East; Western axis, some through Republic of Benin (Seme Border/Badagry), Ogun to Lagos, others through Abuja, Niger, Kogi, Kwara, Oyo, heading towards Lagos through every State in the South West to reach Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, linking up with those who had already arrived in the East, yet the security agencies have been busy chasing flies - Kemi Olunloyo, Kassim Afegbua and other very, harmless citizens.

Guns of various types are arriving in Nigeria from and through all sorts of outlets in containers, coffins, trailers, tippers, vans, buses, ambulances, vehicles pretending to be carrying newlyweds, cars. some stocked inside beans, packaged goods, even official cars, Goods and Own Personnel vans, in sacks, etc.

Security agencies must ensure all containers arriving in the country are penned and thoroughly checked irrespective of their misleading labelling as goods, and a 24/7 night and day patrol in and around the country must be carried out. The police must do well to carry out raids on some turbaned jihadists as under-aged youngsters are being held as captives in their palaces for the pleasure of pedophilic emirs, whose palaces are worse than Sodom and Gomorah!

Again, the jihadists do disguise themselves as pastors with Bibles, as women, as imams, alfas, as wolis (prophets), as business people, etc, in order to enter the country and penetrate key places!

The Badagry/Seme/Republic of Benin border axis, and all Ajara need close watch, Elepo bush path, particularly, although having up to 32 checkpoints (16 on the Nigerian side and 16 on the Republic of Benin side), the security of both nations are there just to fill their pockets. The other dangerous bush paths in that axis number up to 32 – all these need a regular 24/7 patrol.

As a matter of curiosity, why is it that the policing spaces in Nigeria are so crowded such that all security outfits in Nigeria have taken over the job of policing which is the statutory requirements of the so-called Nigeria Police, which to me is just at the service of the Islamists, still an HAUSA CONSTABULARY? Even personnel of the Civil Defence Corps have been arresting citizens. They have no such statutory right. This however does not negate the concept of citizen arrest, and whenever this occurs, the person so arrested by any citizen and security agencies must be handed over to the police to whom it is their statutory right/function/role to so do and prosecute such persons on behalf of the nation.

Lest I forget, the police or any security agency cannot publicly parade any arrested person who in law is a mere suspect at the time off arrest for whatever offence, until such a person/s has/have been found guilty. Mere allegation, suspicion and instant arrest do not confer any statutory right on the police or any agency of the nation’s security to parade such suspects for the sake of unmerited publicity and headline/s. The police in Nigeria and all security agencies must bear in mind that policing is not about eye service and eye service is not policing.

Again, Samuel Ortom and all those close to him – his political aides, Paul Unongo, Abubakar Tsav, David Mark, Gabriel Suswam, traditional rulers in the Heartland and other very prominent Heartlanders (Middle Belters) must all watch it – security must be intensified around Ortom and his family, particularly – because the ORTOM MUST DIE jihadi/herder campaigners doth swell up by the hundreds each day. Peter Fayose MUST watch it and pray very hard. There must be an emergency Council of State meeting this week to discuss THE STATE OF THE NATION:

And let us presently go sit in council

How covert matters may be best disclosed,

And open perils surest answered.

Let us do so. For we are at the stake

And bayed about with many enemies.
